With great pride, I’m happy to announce that Pivotal has gone woke. In other words… :3

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month, everyone! 🏳️‍⚧️

To celebrate Pivotal joining the Queer Games Bundle 2024, I’m releasing an update to the game! It has been quite a while, and with that time comes a lot of changes in my life (the most relevant being that I realized I’m a woman). I wanted to give the game a few small changes to give the best version of Pivotal yet. I was originally working on a Godot port of the game, but since I didn’t really have time to finish that version (as well as Godot web builds not being where I want them to be), I’ve gone ahead and made an update to this version instead. Enjoy! :3

TL;DR

• A few minor visual (and audio) upgrades to the game, both to coincide with Pride and my growing anxiety at the small things from this game
• More gameplay improvements, including more lenient collision and better pacing!
• Desktop builds! (Coming soon™️)

Is there more for Pivotal?

Yes! Like I already mentioned, I’ve been working on a Godot port. However, due to that version morphing into a much different version than the Unity build (this one), I’ve decided that that version will be a sequel instead. Look forward to that by the end of the year. :3

For this version, I wanted to revisit it one last time. Thus, I’ll be pushing out a 2024.2 update sometime this month with more features I’d like to add!
